Default Resetting TPMS

When I had my car in for detailing they removed the wheels to coat the wheels/calipers with Ceramic Pro. The TPMS light is on....how is this reset? I tried what I thought was intuitive but no joy....so let your knowledge shine!

I think you just need to drive a bit. It should come back.

Do a quick toggle between 19" and 20" and then drive a little bit.

I recently had a similar problem when switching form my street to my track tires and back. The TPMS, worked with the street tires and also quickly found the track tires after the switch. But when I went back to the street tires, which are the wheels and tires that the car had when it was delivered two years ago, the TPMS couldn't display the pressure. In fact, it display the yellow symbol for a TPMS fault.

I tried switching the tire settings in the MFD No joy. I waited for three weeks before making an appointment with my local dealer. ON the day I showed up, I took the service writer around to demonstrate another small unrelated problem and the TPMS system came back to life--a full four weeks after my tire switch.

Anyone else experience such a long delay?
