It's not 10 wipes, it's 10 cycles of the actual process.

The imanual said after 10 wipes, it is activated automatically, from what was posted above. What is the difference between a wipe and a cycle? I am sincerely curious as to how this thing works and when the headlight washers will be coming on.

The headlight washers were removed for the 2018 models as a weight savings to offset a small weight gain elsewhere. It was necessary to remain within the already certified EPA emissions test weight class.

Conflicting info!

Removed from MY2019 911s in U.S.
Chrome by default
Black for MY2018
Removed for MY2018

What I know:

Configurator for C2S with LED Headlights PDLS Plus, makes no mention
Photo for build shows chrome

What I hope:

Eliminated, since I do not need them & do not like the look in any color.
Chrome color may be more noticeable with an Agate Grey car. If I knew I was getting them, I might want to change to black or even match A.G. color. Unless I can get a definitive answer, I may end up changing the color with aftermarket or trying to remover & paint myself (Black)

Tried to get them removed from my 2018 GTS I ordered and couldn’t. I ordered them in the exterior color not wanting two black nozzles on the front of the car.

When I configured my 2019 Targa GTS build there were no options for painting headlight washers even though the pictures of the car had them...I do not expect to be getting them when my car arrives.

Morning Hurricane, to me, a cycle is turning on the wipers and spraying the windshield. For example, do that 9 times on a drive (winter weather, sleet, salt, dirt, bug guts.....stuff like that) on the 10th "cycle" the headlight washers will automatically spray & wash. Seems like the counter is reset to 0 when the lights are turned on & off. I might be wrong, or the wording in the e-manual might be wrong. Wonder how this works when your headlights are set on "auto" like mine always are??

Maybe the e-manual is saying if you are HOLDING the windshield washer AND the wipers make 10 strokes, the headlights will also get washed??

OK
I think all MY 2019 Carreras do NOT have a headlight washer system.
I'll find out if mine does in several months. I hope it does not.
