Default Headlight washer color

For 991.2, MY2019, PDLS plus headlights.
Are the washer caps sliver colored?

It does not seem to be listed in the configurator as an option to change the color. I recall it used to be an option ($300?) to change to body colored caps?

I had even read somewhere that these headlight washers are now eliminated. Maybe it depends on which headlight option you have.

The photo in the configurator (C2S) looks like they are chrome. But those photos are not always accurate.

So, what color are they & can I pay to change that?

Chrome by default. Been able to change the colour in the past, but the configurator doesn’t seem to indicate that right now. Doesn’t always mean it’s no longer an option so best to confirm with your SA.

Those that have received 2019s have reported that headlight washers are no longer included, which is fine by me.

I bet you have.

Any car I had/have with them they were fully automatic and fired up under a certain set of circumstances that I never worked out. Never ever had them with a button to activate them.

Usually related to how long you press the button for the windshield washer.

I thought it was a function of how many times you use the windshield washer operation? For example, everything 5th time, it also washes the headlights. Something like that.

There is really nothing to see. You might notice some water spraying up, or you might hear the pump run. But that's about it. Easy to miss.

Fair point. But If my wipers are on during a hour long drive in the rain, wouldn't the reservoir be empty by the end of the trip, if it is cleaning the headlights after every 10 wiper cycles?
