Great car and lucky to have such good parking facilities at work!

Ouch!
Hard hit with just a pinhole. Woke up next day to this...was going to take to get it fixed but had to get it replaced ($1,500) instead. Luckily I did not have to have anything (cameras) realigned.

Wowl..that is a crack...yeah replacement is best. I had the same happen from a rock on the road from Phoenix to Denver! Had to replace mine too..fill just wouldn't cut it. Was a pain finding the correct glass though...didn't know there was about 4-5 different Carrera windshield!

I bit the bullet and ordered leather sun visors. Makes zero financial sense but after spending 6 weeks looking at my leather interior and then at my vinyl visor, I decided I "needed" the upgrade. No warning sticker or warning sticker residue. Really like the feel of them too. Zero regrets.
Of note though is that in a 991.2 this install is no longer DIY. There's now wiring and you need a special tool to disconnect the connector. I tried to MacGyver off the vinyl ones, but ended up at the dealership. Had I broken the connector in the process, wiring up into the roof would have had to be replaced.

That black rocker panel piece on my 488 is called a sport sill cover. To show you how gullible consumers are :
Ferrari offers that piece painted body color as standard and you have to pay for it as an option to be a black alternate material.
Porsche offers that piece black as standard and you have to pay for it as an option to be painted body color. I kept it black on my Targa 4GTS.
Buyers of each brand often pay the up charge just to have what is not offered as standard.
The grass always seems to be greener on the other side.

Some pics of our trip to Blackberry Farm in TN. Shocked at the gas mileage. Double shocked when we came back home via Tail of the Dragon and I still got over 29 by the time I hit Atlanta.
