STG is a tireless ambassador for the Porsche brand and the Porsche community. He's a ducktail guy, too. How can you beat that?

I support any recognition of STG. He put eyes on a distant car for me that I ultimately purchased. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgable!!!!

At the very least, STG should be given Moderator privileges, and the current pay schedule, to monitor the HFS thread and keep it in line for IB.

Rennlist is a better and more valuable resource for all of us because of the unbiased knowledge that STG imparts. It is also, at times, a more entertaining and humorous place. I trust and appreciate STG for his contributions and leadership and expertise. STG deserves the highest possible recognition for his contributions —whether that be life-time membership or moderator status— please register my support, 100%.

Thanks, STG, for all that you do to make Rennlist such a wonderful community.

Rennlist has so many great contributors who have different areas of interest and expertise. I've learned much of what I know because of 6Speed in the past (RIP) and now Rennlist. It's really a collaborative forum here. I'm just one of many.

After all, we know a lot more about engine oil and acorn avoidance because of LexVan. Fall is right around the corner, and the "my tire is skipping and felt like it was going to fall off" threads will start. LexVan will come to the rescue Eduardo used to post some really great material as well regarding PTS, CXX, and Porsche business stuff. Plenum who's a tech genius, all the guys who contribute on HFS and many more. Then we have Pete Stout who makes time for the 991 forum when he has his own magazine which must keep him very busy. Mooty on the GT3 forum who never lacks in entertainment. OrthoJoe with all his track stuff and Rob who managed to get PAG to do an extended 10 year warranty on 991.1 GT3's. Matt with Obsessed Garage who I used to follow on 6Speed that took his hobby and love of cars to the next level. I could go on and on !!!

I really don't need any recognition, although appreciate the thought. Many of the above guys eclipse my expertise. Just glad to be part of the group here. Have zero interest in being a moderator too. Just keeping up on the sales stuff takes up enough time.

I think a lifetime membership would be a great thing to do for George! He has helped so many of us, including me! We all are very appreciative.

With the motion seconded, thirded, and thousandth'd, the question is: Does anyone know what the next step looks like?

What I did, Joe, and I'd recommend to others, is to "report" your first post, and ask the Moderators to please comment. That will help draw more attention to this thread.
