When will Porsche stop shipping the 991.2 Carrera S?

My 991.2 Carrera S is expected to leave the factory during the last week of October so at least through then.

Production will continue into 2019, but I do not know how far in the new year.

I thought production was winding down for 992 retooling?

I had an order for a 2019 Targa 4S with a Jan. 2019 production date but I changed it to a Targa GTS being built in Nov. And my SA expects at least one more batch of allocations that will surely have build dates beyond Jan.

I did a factory tour in Zuffenhausen during the end of June. They told us a new model was under production in a part of the factory, and we couldn't see that area. Meanwhile, 991 production was just oozing along at a slow but steady pace. I think they'll produce both the 992 and the 991 into next year.

I could care lass, because i found and got a great deal on my ideally loaded 991.2 C2S, and I've already added ceramic tint, PPF, AWE wind buffeting foilers and clear LED side markers, and the potent X51 Power Kit to make it the perfect Porsche for me.

Congrats, what color, etc.?

I talked to my SA today as I made a couple more changes to my build and he said he expects more allocations albeit not as many as the last time so he said that is an indication that production is slowing winding down.

Out of curiosity, what caused you to switch to the Targa GTS?
