Over Rev Question
#16
Just asking because I haven't a clue.
Can't the numbers be valid if they were generated from different events?
If you have a big mis-shift, can't you get a bunch of level 6's but very few below that as it flew through the lower ranges so fast?

Regardless, look at the average MPH. 21,000 miles divided by +2,999 hours. That's a dead tell right there the report is fishy.

Did I miss where he posted the total engine hours? The 2996h is just the last time the engine registered range 1 over revs. It's possible that it's been driven gingerly since 2996h and hasn't added any revs to that.

It doesn't matter the entire report is bogus. You can't have more range 5s than range 6s. You can't have more range 4s than you do range 3s. Having an average MPH of <7 is also a red flag. This car should have about only 600 hours on it. The DME is showing over 2,900 hours. More fake news.

True, just saying he didn't provide total engine hours. In this case, I'd expect something nutty like 20,000, or a "normal" number that's somehow under the over rev hour counters.
