Default Clear Side markers, thrown in?

I assumed these would be thrown in. I forgot to ask for them when I took delivery, now I'm told they are $150. Did your dealer throw them in for you?
Should I buy the LED ones or the other clear ones? From sun coast ? Tks

I never assume anything - always need it in writing.

Definitely get the LED ones, they look way better. My car had the old-style clear ones and I still paid to swap them out to the LED version.

If the dealer doesn't want to give them to you for free, I bought mine from Pelican Parts for $72.00. At the time I believe Suncoast was asking $120

Hummmmmm. Does your company give away free stuff? Show me a guy that got free side markers, and I'll show you a guy that left money on the negotiating table.

For my 981, I had to ask for them and I received them. I got a great deal on the car, but the side markers were not LEDs at the time either.

For my 991.2, I was afraid to ask for anything because they made zero money on me. In fact, my wife and I had to agree to star in one of the dealership's commercials. Not kiddin. I wanted to bring the clears to Europe with me anyway so that all my European Delivery pictures would be with the clear side markers. I had to pay $160 bucks for them. 2 minutes to install myself.

When I told my sales rep I wanted clear markers when I pick up my order he kindly took a pair off a used Porsche in the lot and switched mine out. A real cheap dealership but he was proud of helping me out.

Make sure they did it right. The tension springs on them are quite fragile and once removed incorrectly, it will come loose down the road.

Well I did ask, I just did not ask it in the language an attorney may have used. I did not specifically say " can you give these to me completely free of cost, without me having to give $150 to the dealer". It was more "can you change these out for me if I want". Live and learn.

"Thrown in" LOL. My "Dealer" didn't even have the common courtesy to thrown in dealer key chains!

Mine were thrown in and I don't think i left to much on the table except the cost of the markers. But now I am having self doubt.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it!

I bought them for both my 981 and 991. Small price to pay to make the car look significantly better, IMO.

I got these for mine-- very happy considering the price point.
