Default PDLS+ LED dead

Hi Everybody, could anybody tell me expected lifespan for Porsche PDLS+ led headlight please? i Have 2 years old GTS with 18 000 miles on it and one beam stopped working. It is dipped beam on left side. Maybe some help or recommendations please?

2 years is not the life span. You should get several years of service from those lights. You have a faulty light that should be replaced under warranty.

Thank you for reply. My warranty already ended. I am on holiday near sea and in previous days i seen 2-3 macans with same problem. Thats crazy. 35 degrees of celsius and wet air maybe cause that problem.

Wow. Slovakia must have a low mileage/age warranty. That is a bummer that a 2 year old GTS is out of warranty.

Average lifespan Tungsten-Halogen 500 - 1,000 hours
Xenon 10,000 hours
HID 2,000 hours
LED 30,000 hours

2 years is the normal factory warranty, afer that you can opt for the extended Porsche approved warranty.

really? we get 4 years 50k miles here in the US (and Canada is the same in Km i think)

Will the dealer honor the repair as a courtesy or can you get Porsche to extend coverage on an item that should not fail that fast.

Bummer!

This should be covered under Goodwill in my opinion if you have a rapport with your dealer. LEDs are expensive, they should at least offer some relief.
