As we are all in different countries, RAIN means different things. For example, we have summer here about 9 months of the year. When I say rain, its usually a 20 minute event. Then the sun returns. You guys get real weather. Where it rains for a week or a month or a season. So its dry here most of the year round.
So I run Cup 2's 365. We don't have winter tyres here. LOL. I have never seen snow. Its that fake white stuff in Hollywood movies right? (50 Years and never seen it up close.)

Loving this car.

I put Kumho Ecsta PS91's on my 991S and love them. Half the price of Michelins, far more performance than you can possibly use on the street. I don't understand the focus on street rubber for a 991. I drive at the track as well and you simply don't get anywhere near the performance limits of a 991 on the street. So any high-performance tire will do. Some guys like to brag about their tires I guess.

That is hilarious. Tires are a consumable. Like petrol. I don't brag about using a higher octane fuel, its gone in a few days and have to fill again. A few good track sessions and tires also gone.

Of all the many bits I would/could/should brag about on my car, I can assure you Tires are the CHEAPEST thing. So just sharing, not bragging.

Exactly! For street and for most highway driving, torque is King! Way more important than HP. That's why I ordered the X51 Power Kit for my 991.2 loaded C2S Endurance Racing Edition coupe. It has all performance items from Sport Pkg to PDCC, so the suspension is great, even on the track, with the rear axle steering and 305s in back. But I'll be thinking about those catless headers this Winter when back in FL, after I get used to the X51 Power Kit. Would love to see your dyno curves. If you go catless headers would like to see those curves too.
