Where's the Hole?

Zero chance I'd spec a car with the hole, but mine was bought off the lot and has one - so I'm enjoying it while I've got it.

Since I am allergic to bee stings, I prefer cars with no holes, but I bought this one used and it came with a glass hole. I use it more than I thought I would. It is not very noticeable on the outside since the car is black, and it does not reduce headroom enough to matter. Anyone know what the weight penalty is?

I intentionally ordered my 2015 C2S with "sunroof delete" despite $42k in options. Eliminates having cracks extending across the smooth roof. I even skipped the Park Assist to avoid having the unsightly four plugs extending around the rear bumper area.
Living in the Central Valley of California where we have summers of 100+ heat and cold Tule Fog winters, a sunroof can only be enjoyed for three weeks in the Spring and three weeks in the Fall. My Mercedes-Benz sunroof was opened probably a dozen time in a decade, mostly to see if it still worked.

I love the glass sunroof. LIghtens up the interior when closed, and it is really nice to drive with it open. Money well spent.
