Not true, I just got quotes for Fidelity on my '13 C2S, my CPO expires later this month. The dealer I bought from sells EFG (Enterprise Financial Group). The local dealer where I service my car sells Fidelity, which is way more expensive. For a 60/60k contract they are at $7000+ with a $250 deductible vs $4900 with a $100 deductible. I talked to my SA and she said that they have a contract with Fidelity where they will pay Porsche labor times, but EFG goes by All Data which typically allows lower labor times and I'd be responsible for the difference. The other dealer put his service manager on the line with me and he said they have not had such issues.
Any comments or direct experiences with EFG?

Fidelity all the way. Got myself a 6/60 Platinum plan on a 2012.5 with about 21K miles on the last day of my CPO, for under $4K. Amazing value considering the costs associated with this car. I can confirm that it DOES start on the day you sign the contract, and whether or not you're under warranty doesn't matter at all, unless perhaps your broker is self imposing that rule.

That's great to know - I have another two years left on CPO, but I may do that when the time comes as I had one from CNA on my 2011 C4S and while I did not "use" all what I had paid for it came handy twice with very minor issues that I had. Also, I received a pro-rated refund for the unused portion when I traded the car. Piece of mind insurance even though these cars do not seem to have too many issues and many feel that extended warranty is waste of money. But it only takes one...

That's an amazing price, I was quoted about $7500 for that package, supposedly full retail is $13K! Mine is a '13 with 41k miles. I'm going to go back to them to see if they can do better.

Have you had to make any claims with them? I have read reviews that go both ways. I'm looking at a CarMax 991 today.

Default Deal

This seems like a good deal, who did you buy it form if you don't mind my asking ? Do any warranty providers give lower pricing with mileage limits. A 10 year 25K mile warranty for instance would probably cover me but I know most 10 year warranties are for 100K miles.

My dealer is pushing CNA as their preferred company for extended warranty. Does anyone know them or have any experience with them?
I hear about Fidelity often.

Last week, I bought a Fidelity platinum 10 year/100k mile extended warranty for my 2013 4S (9,550 miles) for ~$4k. I thought it was a no brainer after reading all these recent stories of PDK failures.

He's been mentioned before in several threads. Just email him your car's VIN#.

I did. He told me he does business by text, I texted him my info and he never got back. I'll give it another shot.

I haven't yet, I am still able to use the CPO. My GF has a Mercedes and the dealer has never had any issues with the CM warranty.

The highest I was quoted for Platinum was $7537 for years/60k. My car has 41k miles on it.

The Carmax extended warranty has some bad reviews. Google it. The Fidelity lets you go anywhere....including independents. Does not have to be a dealer. I like that.
