I had that happen when I had my Cayman S, I park on an end spot next to the curb and the a hole parks so close to me I had to climb over from the passenger side, couldn't even open the door!

Leave the cart there? Not douchey enough for me, so I went BIGGER and put it on top of the Mercedes, jumped on the hood, and then peed on the door handle.

I was gonna reply with the “it’s a NJ thing”, but I see the last post is from CA. Maybe these cars are just magnetic?

People are just D*cks, so far I have been very lucky but mine is a weekend driver only, no good parking means either drive the DD or don’t go.

90% of people are on auto pilot. They don't even think.

"Oh I guess this is where I park because someone else is parked there and they must know what they are doing"

Happens to me all the time too.

My first dent last week: sitting in my car finishing a call. driver pulls in, comes around the car and opens Passenger door where I was sitting-grabs a purse-and leaves it open, goes around to open the rear hatch. A gust of Boston wind whips the open passenger door slamming it into my driver door and causing a dime size dent.

The driver took zero responsibility -ZERO- said it was impossible for their door to cause the dent(besides me showing how exactly the door/dent lined up). Claimed I was harassing them and then quickly sped off.
