Why are people Ass*oles ?

I got home from a drive yesterday to find a BIG glob of spit had dried on my front fender- I had been out of my car twice, no more than two minutes either time.
i wasn’t even mad- I remember when life was $h1tty, and now I’m rollin around in a car that could buy someone a house. I just poured bottled water on it, hit it w a brand new micro fiber towel, and went on w my day smiling, thinking about my awesome 2.5 hour drive through the Santa Cruz mountains.

I was just remembering the years raising our daughter and putting her through college. I drove a Buick Rendezvous for 12 straight years. And yes, I bought it new because we needed three rows and that was what we could afford at the time. Could have been worse I suppose. It was tolerable because I still had some fun motorcycles. But I was glad to say bye-bye to that car!

Meanwhile on the Honda forum:
Why are people ****oles
I was just going to the gym today minding my own business and some d-bag decided to drive a 911 there just to rub in my face how much more money he has than me. What an ****ole! So of course I parked 3 inches from his door. Serves him right!

Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I live in Florida among physicians, lawyers, legislators, professors and a former Governor. I am one of the few that own a Porsche though I am the only one who is interested in my Porsches. Please understand without the usual insults. .

He's from Toronto which is going through a housing bubble.. But yeah, there are tons of homes out in the US and Canada which you can buy for at the same price of a 911.
You can go to Vancouver and pay 2.5m for this

That makes sense......I thought a person would have to live under a rock to not realize a large segment of people in the U.S. live in homes less than $100,000 and have annual household Incomes of $50k or less. Often times, people have a tendency to spend their time looking uphill rather than being grateful for what they have. There will always be someone that has more. So yes, any newer or classic 911 will carry the stigma of someone being “rich” in the eyes of the general public and will often times cost more than a nice home in a small rural community.
