Default Cooling system fault

So... I got a “cooling system fault” warning on my new to me 2015 c2. Nothing visible was obstructing the radiators, by I suck my hand through the vents on the driver’s side and found all this junk. Now I trying to decide if I should get the zunsport or Rennline grills or if I leave it open and check this area as part of the routine car wash.

Also, this didn’t clear the error message, but I’m wondering if that has to be done by the dealer.

They ( the dealer or someone else) can look up the code to determine what the actual fault is. Might not have anything to do with that junk.

I had a “cooling system fault.” It’s a failure of one of the changeover valves. There are like 7 of them.

in my case it was the one running the sound symposer.

Same thing with me. It's not the radiator junk. It's a changeover valve. Common problem. Probably an easy fix. Another short sentence.
