Clearly I must be bored(or board) and am further obsessing about mods on the GTS Cab arriving hopefully next month. I was speaking to a local Porsche performance shop and they told me about the adjustable H and R's.
Has anyone tried these? ... seems like a good solution offering .6 to well over 1 inch of drop adjustment. The GTS Cab only comes with PASM not SPASM so it sits pretty high (wondering if Porsche was thinking that lower/stiffer=motor flex?)
I have Eibachs on my 997S coupe and loved them, especially with the Victor wheels.
Thanks!

I've got H&R's on my .1 C2. Don't think they're adjustable though. Very good springs, would think they're OEM if I didn't know better. Still smooth, absolutely nowhere near "too stiff," but stiff and tight when need be. Stance is second to none, imo. Sits perfect.

Also consider Techart springs which only lower the car around 3/8”- 1/2”which will set a PASM car at the PASM Sport ride height. I had KW height adjustable springs on my C63s AMG and eventuually went back to stock as I didn’t like the noises the units would make.
Im having the Techart springs installed next week, will post up pics and comments then.

And those H&R’s are probably more expensive and plausibly of an equal to higher quality than OEM springs.

I agree that 1 finger lower looks better, but the ride/handling difference is less than you’d think. Many people will have trouble seeing that 1 finger lowered difference too. It’s not even that obvious with 2 cars side by side. A standard suspension (not PSM) is more obvious, however all new cars get PSM.
I disagree. In my experience OEM porsche parts are high quality. Aftermarket marketing will have you think otherwise.
Nonetheless, Porsche spent lots of time designing and testing the suspension. The parts they put in their have specific attributes for a reason. Its not like they just threw in some shocks/springs.
Disestablishing the suspension, throwing out the original parts they put there for a reason, and getting some aftermarket shocks/coils is sacrilege in my mind. This is something you do to play around with old or cheap cars...not brand new 125k+ Porsche. Others may disagree.
Do some research. For every 1 person that put HR parts in there is at least 1 who didn’t like it and went back to stock.
Id recommend you wait for your car to come in, drive it for 1 + year, and then decide. Don’t go fixing something thay isn’t broken.
