Would this kit work with Base Carrera or Carrera T?

This kit is only compatible with the Carrera S. We've heard lots of discussion of adding these turbos and software to a base car, but then you lose the warranty

Hmmmmmm, tempting. I’m taking delivery of a Cab S in Aug/Sept. and it sounds like a lot of bang for the buck. I did order the sport chromo, but not the sport exhaust, so I assume I’d need to tack that on to the cost?

And what about install? is this something an indie would do, or does it need to be done by Porsche?

X51 requires Sport Exhaust so you would have to select the kit that includes it. Dealer installation and activation is also required so a trip to your local Porsche dealer will be in the cards.

It's definitely the most bang for you buck performance that Porsche has ever released and everyone who has installed it seems to love the added power.

Install time is around 6 hours without the exhaust and 9-10 with the exhaust, from what we've been hearing.

In the world of performance mods, this seems like an amazing deal given the warranty implications.

Ah, I’m getting a ‘19 and not sure this would work. It’d be a bit premature to order it just now.

If your car is a 991.2 Carrera S....it will fit. Make sure you order your car with SC and PSE.

Yes, it’s a 991.2 and I did get SC, but not PSE. I see it can be ordered through the link. If it were my car only, and a coupe, I’d be placing the order today. However, seeing as this is a his and herz, and it’s a Cab, I’m going to take delivery on the car first, and decide then. I’m sure this is not a one time only sale.....

I wonder if the PSE ever goes on sale?

If Porsche offer after market discount do they discount on new orders? Seems crazy I’m ordering right now and if I remove Power Kit I save $12k to $13k.

seems I should remove and order from you.

Its states sale sale price what is the normal price?

how can I confirm install charge?

Can you comment on this further? Will Porsche update the software then on a Base engine? Or is this all aftermarket. In other words, if someone takes this package to a Porsche dealership, will they install it?

Sounds like a fantastic deal for a Base engine at the 4 year point.
