Default OEM 991 GT3 suspension fit 991 GTS?

Has anyone tried fitting OEM 991 GT3 suspension parts, specifically lower control arms, onto a 991 (C2 GTS)? Looking to see if this is possible to achieve more negative camber while staying with OEM parts.

I am familiar with the RSS control arms which look very nice but i just wanted to see if its possible to stay OEM before i consider the RSS arms.

Thanks

Basically, all the front end GT3 parts will fit a carrera front end ( also fit on a cayman).

I'm looking to do the same. Has anyone paid a dealer to change the parts? Any idea on the cost to install GT3 lower arms?

Went through an Indy. Lower control arms, 2 hours labor, plus an alignment will be needed.

I would recommend INDY shop and RSS or Tarett for replacement suspension parts. In my experience, Porsche mechanics are good at fixing Porsche car when replacing like for like but they are not car builders. Find an INDY shop that specialize in building track cars and then ask them about their preferred parts.

Save your parts and swap back when you sell.

Interesting as my shop (SST) just told me the 997 GT3 arms will fit however the 991 arms won't. It seems the max i can expect out of the 997 arms would be -2.0 which isn't enough for me to switch so therefore i will probably go with Tarret or RSS if i decide to make the change.

should be able to get to -3 with oem arms ( mine did), more if you also adjust the top chamber plate too.

Are you using 997 GT3 or 991 GT3 arms? I was told supposedly the 981 GT4 and the 991 GT3 have arms that don't interchange with anything else but all the other cars use the same setup as the 997 for the front lower arms.

Ah okay. that makes sense. I thought you were suggesting that you were using 991 arms. It seems Tarrett is selling the OEM 996 GT3 arms. Is there a reason you chose the 996 over the 997 arms?

996 GT3 arms with 16mm spacers will get you to -2.7 to -2.8 which should be enough.
