The only real mechanicals that could go wrong are change over valve failure. Relatively minor, but can cost a fair amount in labor to resolve. Essentially a certain batch of change over valves had a tendency to fail. The parts are around 50-60 a piece and there are a few of these in our cars. If they do fail I can't imagine parts and labor to be more than $500 to change. Just something to be aware of.

These are amazing machines. I bought my 2012.5 C2S CPO, 7MT, SPASM, SC, PSE for 67k about two and a half years ago. 22k, just started daily driving it. No issues except door panels came a bit loose at the top and were replaced. I'm honestly surprised these cars have depreciated so little over time.
Each time I drive my car feels like the first time. It puts a smile on my face on the worst days.

I purchased a 2012.5, highly optioned S in December, CPO with 27k for 73k. Been amazing this far, seems like a decent deal, from what I’ve been seeing the NA cars are holding pretty well. I could not justify a 997.2 with 60k for 60k price, when I could have a newer 991.1S with warranty for 13k more. Just my thoughts Good luck!

I’m currently looking at a similar car as you are with similar options from 12-14, more concerned with color combo, options and conditions. The 991 market is crazy in Southern California. There isn’t much available and when cars similar to the one you posted pop up, they are gone fast. That car CPO out here would be $72-79k CPO.
If you like it, I’d see if you can get a little knocked off, but if it’s in great shape buy it. One of the main factors out here is some of the cars are beat up, even some CPO cars are a little rough for the price.
Hoping to pick mine up within the week..

Nice build. Sale price should be between about $65-$68K. But I wouldn't sweat a K or two if it's the right car for you with the colors/options you want. You're going to look at this car every day in your garage, so buy the one you really want. Also, keep the 993. I have one too. I'll be buried in it.

I really appreciate everyone's inputs and support. I started out looking for 991.1 with PDK, carrera white with red interior but so far I could not find any under 75K. Please point it my way if you happened to spot one.
I'm going on vacation in few days so hopefully the car is still there when I'm back.... HOPEFULLY.
