I am wondering why did you choose black over all other colors? Black is the hardest color to keep clean

 

Congrats! Your car is similar to mine aside from the wheels. (Which was my second choice) I waited 5 long months!

 

I had a lot of trouble deciding on color. In the end it came down to either jet black or gt silver, and one reason I went with black is because my last sports car, an rx-8, was silver so I wanted something different. Also I rented a black .1 and thought it looked amazing. Of all the colors I just think black looks the best on the 991., and silver comes in second. Subjective of course. Oh and my current car is grey so that ruled out grey pretty quickly and my wifes car looks like night blue.. though I think both of those colors look good on the 991 as well.
A lot of people told me black would be a pain to keep clean ( thread " talk me out of getting a black 911" ) . I figure with full PPF I can get it washed in maybe 30 minutes, so I don't mind too much. But I won't know how much trouble it is until I have it for awhile. Without full PPF I would have gotten gt silver.

 

Nice, what was your first choice in wheels? Wow, why did you have to wait so long? Also what made you go for a 4S over the 2S?
