Shark Werks 991 Sport Exhaust/ Race Exhaust
Does anybody have the Shark Werks 991 Sport exhaust fitted to their Carrera S/ Carrera 4S? I only saw the video on their site of it fitted to a Carrera. Would love to see/ hear any start up videos or pass by shots in addition to getting your impression and satisfaction level with the exhaust. Also considering the Shark Werks Race exhaust as well. Thanks in advance!

Last time I checked they don't make exhaust for 991.
I saw a new company https://www.agency-power.com/ but cannot find any reviews

I recently bought the side bypass pipes from a forum member and installed them on my 991.1 C2S with PSE. The installation was pretty easy and fit into the center bypass PSE no problem.
I wasn't expecting a huge sound change from the PSE by just eliminating the side mufflers. However, there was. It's the same PSE sound, just louder. The overrun is much more pronounced, even with the PSE and Sport + off. I absolutely love it and it sounds even better between 5000-7500 RPMs. It's definitely not for everyone. I weighed the original side mufflers at about 18.7 lbs each. Each bypass pipe weighed about 7 lbs, so it saved about 20 lbs. Not enormously significant. Here's a strangest part.... I hate exhaust performance claims by companies. However... the car feels a little "snappier." It's not dramatic at all, but it feels just a little quicker. Of course, this could just be the louder sound, etc. Either way, I'm enjoying it.

It's louder in both modes. For some reason I thought that, at least above ~ 3k, there wasn't much of a flow through the side mufflers with the PSE on. Audibly with the bypass pipes, it's clearly not the case... the side mufflers or bypass still get some flow in pretty much every variation of PSE on, Sport +, etc.

@rff15e: Interesting! Do you get any drone while driving on the freeway at speed? I don't have PSE, so I'm still left wondering how this would sound on the stock setup. I assume if it's not too bad on PSE, then it wouldn't be worse on stock. Do you drive with PSE engaged at all times?

I looked at Sharky's website and it states that this exhaust WILL drone. Not a good sign when an exhaust company is willing to admit that, lol.

My center muffler delete from Sharkwerks doesn't drone (though it does accentuate some very mechanical noises and rare vibrations on idle which i don't mind), but I wouldn't own it if I had an S. I don't lose any valving by ditching my base center muffler.

I have the sharkwerks center bypass on my base 991.1. There's definitely no drone. The sound is pretty angry on full throttle, but not overly loud. On 70 mph highway cruising, the tire noise is louder than the exhaust. Install was pretty easy. I did it in my garage in about an hour. Quality seems very good. 2 years old with no issues.

The side bypass has a little bit of drone through certain RPM ranges, it just depends on how you drive. Similar to the standard PSE set up/tone, just louder. I could see it being annoying for some people. The cold starts sound amazing though. I use the PSE button quite often, except for early mornings around the neighborhood. I tried to take a sound clip, but without a better microphone set up or something... it doesn't really depict the sound accurately. Even my wife likes it.
If anybody has the stock exhaust (no PSE) with the muffler delete (side pipes) let me know what you think! Thanks!
