Thanks for posting that and here is a PDF of the document that you listed should someone want to print it.
It appears to be well designed (typical Porsche) and is machined to provide clamping force not only at the bolt area but also between the bolts. IIRC the total cost at the dealership was about $40 including bolts.

I spoke to an Indy garage, they said a “cheat” is just to undo the 3 bolts, get a screwdriver in there and push the pipe off. Would save a lot of time. Any reason why this won’t work?

For my UK friends, this is what I have gathered with help of Porsche Reading and diagrams on Design911 with corresponding part numbers and everyone in this thread/forum.
Porsche Reading couldnt find the new retaining clamp and screws. They said they could only see it for the boxster. Maybe this technical bulletin did not make it to the UK.

#12 0PB121437 Seal Water pipe (Leaking o-ring) x1
#18 90012300730 seal ring 14 X 18 (Coolant drain plug seal) x2
#27 99970765840 O-ring 23 X 3 (To remove water line #26) x2
#28 99970765740 O-ring 31 X 3 (To remove water pipe #25) x2

There is one more coolant pipe to remove that’s not shown on the diagram, and requires another set of o rings. It travels from the thermostat housing directly towards the front of car and then towards the engine.
