The frunk can't be opened if the battery dies for whatever reason. Then can't jump the car.

There is a procedure for opening frunk with a dead battery, but you will need a battery booster/jumper pack to connect it to a post in the fuse box and a ground. Always a good idea to keep a battery jumper in the cabin of your car, and jumpers have gotten significantly smaller so storing it in the cabin is no longer a big deal.

Yes of course. The procedure is in the manual. Bit of a hassle but obviously can be done.
