A/C default setting
2013 C2 - upon start up the A/C or Heat temp/fan speed setting defaults back to where it was last set, even though it was turned off when the car was shut off. Is there a way to have it default to off upon start up?

Unfortunately....no.

^^^ That question pops up every now and then. It is a safety feature intended to maintain a positive air pressure inside the car to prevent any carbon monoxide from finding its way into the cabin in case of an exhaust leak.

If it would just save the sync option, I'd be happy.

If I have the temp set to Auto 72 degrees and sync is activated, when I leave the car and return, it will fire up as Auto 72 with sync activated. I assume this is because of a remember key setting, or remember last setting set in multi function display (or both).
That said, if I previously had it set to Auto 72 with sync activated....and then turned the fan down until it turned AC off, leave the car and return, it will fire up as lowest fan setting (Auto not activated) and sync activated. If I want to turn it off at that point, I just downclick the fan switch till off. If I wanted to go back to auto sync at 72 degrees again, I would just click the Auto(sync) button to turn on auto temp and I would be good to go.
Not sure which situation you were referring to having it not save sync...so figured I would clarify.
