Default My old 991.1 and my dealer has no inventory

My old 991.1:

My local dealer says that the 'wait list' is growing for the new models, and I may get one in a year.

I may just keep my 991.1 as the last of the 3.4L non-turbo cars? I cab buy a beach place instead.

They are retooling for the 992

Im keeping my 991.1S until the 992 launches and will get one second year production (plan so far) or I finally just cough up the cash for a 991.1 GT3.

I'm on the east coast Philly area and I see plenty of inventory out at dealers. Are you saying your dealer has no cars or because of the model shift to the 992 Ordering is delayed?
I see plenty of 991.2 cars at dealers. If you are looking to build a 991.2 you may be out of luck.

None of these cars are "rare". Good sales line......

I'd find a different dealer. Sounds like typical BS to me.

I would keep the 991.1 and get property. More financially sensible, and the 991.1 is more purist.

Say what? You see plenty of 991.2 cars, but I am out of luck finding a 991.2?

Meant to say if you are looking to build a 991.2 you may be out of luck.

Poorly run dealer and old school sales shtick. You know you can search and buy online from good dealers who have cars right?

Lots of cars avail. I think the mind trick he's trying to use is that there are NO cars avail to order. Likely as others are saying due to tooling down from 991.2 production to 992 this summer/fall. But I think if you are not super picky and can settle a bit on what you want and really need then a car is out there for you whether 991.2 or 992! Good luck!
