Hi
Hi there. Moving over from the 997 Forum. Just bought (well not just - it was over a month ago) a 2018 991.2, GT Silver Metallic. A stripper according to some of the posts in this forum: PDK, Sport Exhaust, heated seats and wheel, 20” Carrera wheels, Sport seats Plus with crests in headrests (and no roof). I also had them put Xpel al over the front end. It’s a CPO car that had 1800km (a guy bought it and used it briefly before trading up for a more highly optioned car) on it when I bought it - under warranty til 2025. I actually prefer the strippers - I figure less things to go wrong as they get old. My 997 is a low option car and will be sorry to see it go when I get it cleaned up to sell.
Having fun with the new car but have only put about 200 km on it so far - vacation and life/work got in the way. It will mostly be a DD and probably do a couple of track days a year.
Looking forward to my ownership experience and participating in this forum.
Cheers, Scott

Three Wheelin'
We had snow in PA during April - s(now) happens. I thought only cabs and targas came without a roof. Glad to see they put one on anyway. Great color and wheel combo. Enjoy it!

Thanks guys. It’s a really nice car. Still learning all the features and it’s still not broken in.
My next door neighbour is currently doing a track day at Area 27 track in BC with his GT4.
I had some work commitments otherwise I’d be there.
I’d like to see how this car compared to his
