I called and complained. You can't even search by trim. I am looking for a manual 4S, and there is no way to eliminate all of the other 991 trim options. I used the "search" feature for 4S and it brought up mostly S and base models, and skipped most of the 4S models.

I told them I will only use Autotrader from now on, as it has searchable features such as trim (S/4S/GTS/4GTS). If I find the right car at a non-Porsche dealer, so be it!

Maybe this is why they did it?

This is definitely the dealers wanting more prominent placement.

This link works:
http://ucl.porsche.de/ucl/plsql/usa/...8BA8XV&styp_=s

Still has the old style interface.

Guess is the new US interface is just a wrapper on what is under the covers...

I don't know if that site is working correctly. I searched for "911" "Carrera" (base) and only got 19 results. It only had 283 for "all models, all cars"

check your zip code and distance. If I select 911 and all I get 1233 cars.
All, all with no zip / distance shows no count.
911, carrera is 250

Yea the redesign is horrible. I hope whoever they farmed that out to gets kicked to the road. 16g's for '17 GTS4 cab sounds amazing. I am sure there is a zero missing but it never hurts to call.

Perhaps, say, a dealer on the East Coast where you live wasn’t happy you could easily find a car you like better was available two states away?
Its very hard to believe they accidentally made the search function worse. If that’s the case and it isn’t “fixed” in a day or two, it’s 100% intentional in my mind.
maybe C. J. can weigh in?

Yeah. Of course, they could actually do something about it by stocking better cars. "Hey, we suck at running a business and giving people what they want, but let's obfuscate the evidence so that we can get our share of the pie while continuing to suck...."

CJ's shop has amazing cars, and they sell. Some of these lame-o dealers (such as my local dealer, with ZERO 911 inventory cars, new or used) deserve to get no business. CJ's store should get plenty of credit and profit for bringing in good inventory and treating people well.

Wow - this is majorly disappointing. The old site worked mostly just fine. Guess they didn't want us to be able to easily compare CPO stock across the US..

Thanks Spyerx. It seems to be the only alternative. At least you can cut your selection to the options that we enthusiast want. Just a couple of notes: If you don't enter the zip code, then it seems to randomly search. If you enter a zip code, it only searches within a 500 radius. My suggestion is that if you are doing a nationwide search, you have to find two or three zip codes, maybe one for Fresno, one for Chicago (or St. Louis), one for Atlanta, one for Miami, etc. You know my drift

Damn...I will buy that right now but it is not there anymore

The new site sucks big time. Looks like they hired some person who is trying to make name for himself or herself, but doesn't really know on what the heck he/she is doing. Horrible bean counter move

Who do we complain to and who is going to listen? This is kinda super annoying

The backend link to the CPO site no longer works unless they changed the url. The search function still doesn't work on the new site. I just did a "search" for a 911 with PSE and PCCB, and it basically listed every 911 in the country, starting with local ones that had neither option.

Porsche wants to drive business to cars.com, Autotrader, and other sites? Over there, they are competing with non-Porsche dealers as well. It seems quite short-sighted.

I also noticed that attempting to sort by price (high to low) doesn't actually sort by price. It looks like it sorts by price by mileage from your location. I was curious what 2013-2015 Panamera would cost, and I couldn't sort lowest to highest.

Complete redesign fail.
