Default What steering wheel is this? TechArt?

Hi gang,

I came across the picture of a steering wheel and wondered if anyone knows what it is. Thanks!

I think the manufacturer is Nasty Wheels. No, that’s wrong. It’s Made by Horrible.

Too much color. Needs to be deleted. Someone is going to get another idea. 😉

The yellow airbag trim is too much in the face in my opinion.

I’m having a custom wheel made as we speak, i prefer the 2x2 bigger CF pattern over the 1x1 pattern. I love CF wheel cuz of the bigger grip.

It’s a work in progress, missing the perforated leather but you get the idea. Let me know if you are interested in a custom wheel to your liking, i can share the vendor contact infos.

Check out DCT Motorsports. They make custom wheels. You can also buy custom wheels direct from some similar quality Chinese suppliers directly, via Alibaba.com.

Like others have said, that wheel pictured is FUGLY. You can design just about whatever you want with these mfgs directly.

Besides looks, why have a glossy slick surface on a functional part like the steering wheel? Padded leather (or other tactile surface) is not only comfortable to hold but provides better grip.

Have you ever used a wheel with lots of carbon on it?

I have and it was still plenty grippy and was absolutely no problem using.

Sure, it wouldn't be what I'd choose for a dedicated track/race car but for an aggressively driven street car, it's no problem.

Only the top & bottom of the wheel is CF, the grip area is perforated leather. You have to hold one, the thicker grip feels amazing & solid. All my cars have this mod & it’s the best mod for the buck in my opinion as it’s something I enjoy every time I drive the car.
