My CPO came w/o the dummy key, and I use the FOB all the time. I have the Premium Plus, which included entry and drive, etc, but the dummy key wasn't there when I bought the car. I've never missed it. I actually like putting the key in the slot and turning it. Seems cooler for some reason. I could order the dummy key, but just don't feel the need. Plus, when I rent a car using keyless drive, it always bothers me. Maybe I'm goofy.
If you have entry and drive (which gives you the dummy key), why are you fishing around for keys? That’s the whole point of the system. I feel like I’m missing something here.
When I bought 2014 C4S which was CPO, it was missing the Dummy Key, although the car had the Entry and Drive. The dealership said they would get me a replacement but never did. I ended up buying a color matched dummy key from Suncoast. Although, most people can't see it, I love it. (kinda like my Aluminum look gas cap)
