Squealing brakes question

Squealing brakes question
Driving a 991.1 C2 with standard brakes and while creeping to stop lights or signs they just squeal. Very embarrassing. While braking hard everything is fine. It’s only with slight pedal pressure they do this. You know, when waiting in line at a stop light or a turn and your going 1 - 5 mph. (I know, I know drive faster, brake harder!! 😎
Dealer says there is about 90% left on them so not looking to change. Can you give me a few things to try to eliminate this or find out why they do that?

This is the official explanation, straight from the source:
I've owned German cars for a while, and it's widely known that they produce a TON of brake dust. In my experience, if I don't clean the wheels and brakes out weekly (on my daily's) they start to squeak as you described. Even if you just hose out the calipers, you'll see a dark cloud of dust come out that I've never seen on any Japanese or American car, and this will cure it for me. I'm actually currently in a 18 Cayenne loaner with 3K and the brake squeaks incredibly bad. I'm almost ready to bust out my cleaning supplies and clean their car.
There also may be a chance that the rotors are glazed, if you ride them without braking hard. In that case, along with cleaning the brakes, take your car out to a country road and do 4-5 full power stops from like 70 back to back, that will de-glaze them..

I had a girlfriend one time who complained about brake squeal. On her Lexus. OMG! Its a brand new Lexus! There must be something WRONG with it! I drove it around the block, hard braking a couple times, no more squeal. For who knows how long. Because, it happens. It happens on cars. It happens on motorcycles. It happens a whole lot with otherwise perfectly quiet brakes when you change to more high-performance pads. Or any pads at all. Or nothing at all. It happens so often that the more I think about it the more surprised I am that anyone finds this the least bit unusual. But then I think, even though brake squeal has been known to happen on every freaking vehicle with brakes, disc, drum or otherwise (it happens on BICYCLES!) since like FOREVER that it still does not happen frequently enough for people to think of it as normal. Expected, even. Like, the real surprise, considering after all how brakes work, is that it doesn't always happen, all the time.

Three Wheelin'
per chuck, on a clear road, go 70-20-70-20-70-20 as fast as you can to get the pads warm. That should help any squeal. This procedure is similar to a pad bed in procedure.

I have squeal and recently took an air hose to my calipers and rotors trying to solve the problem. Blew everything out really well. Sent large clouds of brake dust into the air as I blew out the vanes and holes in the rotors. Got the hose into the caliper/pad area and cleaned it out as well. Took a test drive and all this reduced the squeal about 25% (and most of that may be the placebo effect...)
Pretty sure to really solve the problem you gotta unbolt the calipers, slide out the pads, clean the calipers/pads, and reinstall with anti-squeal paste on the backs of the pads. The real source of the squealing is the pads vibrating. The paste neutralizes this.

1) My 991.1 has brake squeal that is fixed by a few hard applications- rinse and repeat.
2) None of my prior 2 911s and Boxster had a similar break squeal.
3) My Macan S has no brake squeal.
