You have to print or print preview the build sheet from the configurator. It says the model year on page 9. Just did it. They are still 2018s.
Also if you have a saved configuration for example a 2017 Targa and the configurator is updated to MY 2018, when you go to load the old configuration, it will ask you if you want to upgrade to the new model year. There has always been a price increase too....
Porsche is late this year in updating the model and prices to MY2019. My guess is that the 992 was supposed to come out as a 2019 but got delayed. So they are scrambling to build more 2019 991.2s and 992 will be a 2020 now or a 2019.5.

Edit: P.S.: Looks like new MY2019 prices are up now.

Not sure what they're waiting for. Last year, they started building 18s in June and the configurator switched mid March. They will be building the 19s starting July this year, the switch should happen anytime soon I hope.

Based on information from other threads on RL, I think the MY2019 cars will be built starting mid-August/early-September.

This has been the MO for the past 7 years that I have been watching the configurator. I am convinced that they were planning to launch the 992 earlier but it got delayed. Therefore they had to continue the 991.2 line for an extra year which is why the configurator and prices have not been updated yet.
