CL posting in LA Area, emailed and got response from a variation on the "Virgin Atlantic email address" shown elsewhere in this thread (airbus.a380@virginatlanticeuropean.com) And using the name Joseph Edward Koch (who's name shows up on a pilot registry, so this guy and others may be getting flamed unnecessary)...
"Hi, the 4S is still available for $41.500. It has 36,852 miles, clean title, no accidents and no money owing on it, and I recently had it inspected, you can see the History Report and the Inspection Report attached to this email.
I am a pilot and I just got a very good contract with Virgin Atlantic in London and I need the money for an advance on a house, that's why I am in a hurry to sell it.
I have left the vehicle with a broker, with all the paperwork (title signed by me, keys, service records, etc) so they can handle everything for me. I have empowered them to transfer registration on my behalf, arrange inspection etc.

I have the car now at Edmunds Autos in Houston, TX, with the title, signed by me, keys and all the docs, and I have empowered them to transfer ownership on my behalf. You can go there, inspect it and than pick it up yourself Mon to Fri from 9 to 5 CDT.
If you do not have that possibility you can also do it online and have it shipped to you. You will make payment to them, they will secure your payment and ship the vehicle (all shipping charges will be covered by me). You will receive it, inspect it for 3 days and if you accept it, they will pay me and transfer the title to your name, if not, they will pick it up from you and refund your full payment. To go ahead you will need to set up a transaction trough Edmunds on their website: https://www.edmunds.com.en-usa.online/?buy/ using my reference number (D1AK4382S0).

Called phone listed on web site, guy answered all questions except was stumped when I told him Carfax pulled today said car was now registered in Colorado not CA like he insisted, said he would call right back after checking with title dept...a few minutes later CAl add had disappeared.
