Anticipation killing me...
Like many on this forum, I’ve always dreamed of getting a 911 - a bucket list item. Finally pulled the trigger, but it’s been a long wait! Put my deposit down August, 2017 to get a C2 GTS allocation with European delivery and the order locked in late December. Finally get to pick it up next week in Leipzig - unable to sleep anymore!

Awesome. Post lots of pics and impressions when you pick it up. I can tell you that you will not be disappointed!

My itinerary is not as long or exciting as “subshooter’s” from his video! Planned the trip to align with my son’s college spring break -
- Stuttgart
- Leipzig
- Dinkelsbuhl (walled city)
- Heidelberg
- Nurburg (plan to run the Ring)
- Stuttgart
- Frankfurt
Sightseeing in each city, ICE train ride to Leipzig from Stuttgart, visit Porsche and Mercedes Benz museums, factory tours in Leipzig and Zuffenhausen, and plenty of autobahn driving!

I WILL do Euro Delivery some day. I was likely going to do it if I got an M3 but those plans got scuppered (pun intended) by my pool construction. By the time I switched to the 911, I was buying used.
But replacing my wife's Cayenne.....

At the gate at O'Hare.
Flying to New York for the night.
Then, on to Frankfurt tomorrow.
Stuttgart pick up scheduled for Monday the 9th.
Fashion grey GTS, manual, no sunroof and no center locks.
Ordered what seems like forever ago.
