Default Ceramic Pro Textile on Alcantara

I was offered an interior pkg to ceramic coat my interior. The cost is considerably low and they say that the leather, plastic and also Alcantara can be protected.
Does anyone on here have experience with Ceramic Pro Textile on Alcantara?

thanks,

Sounds like a way to boost profit on a new car sale.

How much for Ziebart under-coating?

It’s actually by the PPF guy.
It is $250 for the interior pkg.
I’m just not sure how it will effect the Alcantara feel. That would be my main concern.
Ive seen the Alcantara cleaner and it does revive the fabrics, I’m just not sure if protecting it helps or makes things worse.
Min looking to find someone that has done it and has first hand experience with Ceramic Pro Textile on its Alcantara.

What are you trying to protect the Alcantara from? Is this car a DD, week-end toy, track rat??

Weekend car.
Protection from liquid like sweat, the sun as it’s a Cab etc.
$250 is not an expensive amount for protection. If it really protects and doesn’t affect the texture.

I'd suggest you read TOGWT's post, and maybe ping him with a follow-up PM:

I think this is something you could very easily do yourself with the proper products. See if Phil at Detailers Domain sells any of the mentioned products by TOGWT.

Don't know the product, but just sounds light a large margin profit maker for the detailer.

I've always been skeptical of treatments for the interior.

Paying to have someone else do the work, they have to make their money.

Thank you LexVan, you info lead me to https://www.drbeasleys.com/shop/inte...icrosuede.html
Spoke to them and they had a some great info.
I would most likely go with that option in a DIY.

Interesting web site. If I understand the product mix, depending on the condition of the Alcantara, there might be a requirement to remove any spotting as a first step, followed by a general cleaning followed by a protective treatment. All of which sounds like about a week start-to-finish?

Yep, they were very friendly and helpful.
I may be ordering the protection one.

Alcantara is super easy to clean. You can do it once or twice a month. All u need is a cotton cloth, water and a tiny amount of soap. Google it. Will look new forever.
