https://www.porsche.com/usa/approved...ures/warranty/

I guess I have been living under a rock or something but I had no idea they did this.....

Your dream Porsche will give you plenty of driving pleasure. With the Porsche Approved Certified Pre-owned Limited Warranty, you will experience yet another good feeling. The feeling of security. And the reassuring certainty to have made the right decision. In case of a problem, the comprehensive warranty covers 100% of the costs for material and labor.*

Porsche Approved Certified Pre-owned Limited Warranty:
  • 2 Years / Unlimited Mileage Warranty coverage from the expiration of the new vehicle limited warranty or the date of sale if the new vehicle limited warranty has expired**
  • 2 Years / Unlimited Mileage Porsche Roadside Assistance
  • Factory trained technicians perform repairs
  • No deductible
  • Redeemable at every Porsche Dealer
  • Only Genuine Porsche parts are used
*Porsche Cars North America will repair or replace with a new or remanufactured part any factory-installed part that is faulty in material workmanship under normal use.

**This new warranty does not apply to vehicles sold as CPO prior to December 1, 2017 or vehicles with an existing 2 year/100,000 mileage warranty while still covered under the new vehicle limited warranty. This warranty is not valid if sold by any non-authorized commercial dealer or broker. If this vehicle is traded to a non-authorized Porsche dealer or broker for resale purposes, the Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty is void.

Confirmed. I bought a 2017 CPO Macan last month and my warranty has unlimited miles. This was highlighted to me a number of times by the salesperson and the sales manager.

I would trade unlimited mileage for a loaner car when you needed it - instead of waiting 2-4 weeks for an appointment

CPO cars north of the 49th have had "unlimited miles" included for a while ...

Yep, purchased my '17 GTS Targa last month as a CPO car. Had only 50 miles and was brand new in every way, but they had to punch the ticket in October for some technicality. Came with a 6-year unlimited miles warranty as a result. Pretty sweet.

And still transferable between private parties?

I didn't specifically ask the question about transferability because I intend to keep the car forever, but I think the answer is yes, the warranty is transferable. The warranty attaches to the car, not the individual.

Yes, still transferable between private parties. Not a bad deal for someone like me who drives the wheels off his cars.

Wasn’t the previous CPO 2 years/100,000 miles? Unlimited miles in two years would make a Panamera a great taxi working 3 shifts a day.

The CPO adds an additional 2 years beyond the 4 year factory warranty, so 6 total vehicle years. Even over 6 years not too many Porsches are driven over 100k miles, so it's a bit of a marketing ploy, but I'll still accept it.

I put a TON of miles on my car - I have a long commute and it's my daily - so it's a lot more than a marketing ploy to me. I intend to see just how many miles I can put on a car in 6 years. I'd say the over/under is 125-150K.
