Default Has anyone tried tail light tint film?

Hi all,

While I was surfing I came a cross tail light tint film at Suncost. I was wondering if anyone has any experience or thought about it.

https://www.suncoastparts.com/mm5/me...t_Code=991FILM

Thanks

If you want the 911 R or GT3 RS look then you can buy the darker red rear lights complete, very quick to change and sell on when you change car. About £500 in the uk

they look great on a white car

I think STG did a tinted clear-coat on his rear tail lights. Can also look into that option. FYI.

have to admit it looks kool. But, I want my tail/stop lights as bright and noticeable as possible. Sooooo many bad drivers out there.

I will post pics when I am done

Yes, have had it for about 2 years in lightest "tint" color. Looks great on my Agate color. Easy install

I ordered the gun smoke today and the rear 3rd brake tint light too. I have a carbon fiber valance arriving this week and changing my rear model emblems to black so the dark tint lights should finish the look. I'll post when it's done.
Found out Suncoast supplier is Lamin X which has good stuff and the prices are the same so I know the product is good.

Looks like a great idea. I like how they have the tint for the 4/4s back light as well.

I might have to do it.

I'm planning to do this. The bottom edges of my tail lights have some flaws where they look clear instead of red. PCNA won't warranty, so I think this will be a nice inexpensive solution.

Considering how many ******** are on cell phones these days, the last thing I would want is to be less conspicuous, especially at night.

Already been rear ended while stopped in traffic by one of those clowns.

Those clowns would probably run into people if they had a spotlight shining in their eyes...tint away.
