Hello there...

just pick up my 991 yesterday, very excited to be here, looking forward to do some track days and mods on the car.

quick question and getting some reference as well, does anyone have a guy here in SoCal that can program key fob, the dealer i picked up, only has one, looking to see if anyone has the pointer i can learn from.

thanks~

get a copy of whatever BS inspection they said they did. Likely 2 keys was on it. They probably use that as the pitch for why you should pay lots of money. Right after buying is the best time to ask for something good will. Otherwise grab your ankles for a new one and program

Your car came with two key FOBs. Demand it from the dealer or threaten to give the car back. I've heard of this happening before. You will get your Key FOB. Don't fork out $600 bucks for someone else's mistake.

I didn't buy mine from the Porsche dealer and it only had one key as well. I had Porsche of Newport Beach sell me a new key fob and programming. It wasn't too bad -- I think closer to $400 to buy the key, and get both keys re-coded to the car. contact them and give them a shot. When I was looking I emailed all of the dealers in the Area, and porsche of NB gave me the lowest price and i went with them. I suggest doing the same! Enjoy the car!

Car looks awesome! Just got mine CPO'd with only one key, they are sending me the keys, I'm going to have the dealer call a local dealer to arrange for programming.
