get a copy of whatever BS inspection they said they did. Likely 2 keys was on it. They probably use that as the pitch for why you should pay lots of money. Right after buying is the best time to ask for something good will. Otherwise grab your ankles for a new one and program;) |
I asked around, its around $600 all together with programming and key ($185).
in case someone need these info... |
Your car came with two key FOBs. Demand it from the dealer or threaten to give the car back. I've heard of this happening before. You will get your Key FOB. Don't fork out $600 bucks for someone else's mistake.

I didn't buy mine from the Porsche dealer and it only had one key as well. I had Porsche of Newport Beach sell me a new key fob and programming. It wasn't too bad -- I think closer to $400 to buy the key, and get both keys re-coded to the car. contact them and give them a shot. When I was looking I emailed all of the dealers in the Area, and porsche of NB gave me the lowest price and i went with them. I suggest doing the same! Enjoy the car!
thanks again for the referral. |
quick update: I end up paying about 385 for the key fob and 160 for the programming.
