Default 911T Allocations

Have we gotten a real sense of available buildable allocations in 2018 and will the car flip to 2019's after July.

No clue. All I know is there are very few allocations available. I’ve heard this calendar year only but who knows.

Not sure about "T" allocations. My sense tells me that 991.2 cars built after June/July will be 2019 MY. The 992 will be introduced the end of this year and customer deliveries will start late 1st quarter/early 2nd quarter 2019 as model year 2020. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Porsche does.

I was told cars ordered now,..if the dealer has an allocation,...would be July build and be model year 2019.

Usually but not always. It's actually June 1st, not July. But by the time they get to the US, it is August/Sept so that is why you probably are thinking the fall. I've done two European Deliveries and timed my allocation to coincide with the next model year. Both were built in early June. It was worth the year's worth of depreciation. It's hard to time the allocation for the exact month of a build though and model year change over.

I had a colleague who got a 2013 981 build the last week of May 2013 and I had a 2014 981 build the first week of June. Same with my 991.2.

My dealer said the same thing, July build as a '19. Just seems like there are few allocations though.

If anybody is interested I know of an open allocation in FL. PM me if you are interested. I am local so I don't know if they are amenable to out of state buyers and you would have to check.

Just heard back from GM at my dealership saying it is model specific. Some september builds are 2018 and some July builds are 2019. Maybe the T is in the latter category. Kinda sucks for me my build is May, partially mitigated by the fact that I wont need to wait wait until it's snowing to get delivery.

Go. And yes, will be considered a 2019 build. Trust me, you won't regret it ... fantastic car.

Nice, clean build. (Tho that last digit should be a ‘zero’, not an ‘o’.)

Good stuff there. I suspect folks will dig the color and RAS... but you’ll get dinged on the sunroof.

Whatever you do, you’re going to love it.

really nice build. The white works well all the grey and black trim pieces and the glass sun roof is fantastic. Your wheel choice is the less common one, which makes the car very unique. Miy build is similar and this is how it looks so you get an idea how cool your build will look:
