Default How to make the wait easier...

so, as i wait for my GTS delivery (June 29), i found out from my sales guy that there is no website or tracking system where i can entertain myself clicking refresh for the next few months. My BMW was different--i got constant updates on my personalized page and i was able to see status as well as personalized recommendations for upgrades and other BMW goodies.

is this true that Porsche does not have a similar process? what did your SA do to keep you engaged and feeling like you were part of the process??

As my 911T is being readied for transport pick up tomorrow, with a long cross-country jaunt... I am in the same boat (for the next 7 days... Yes, what am I complaining about).

1. I see iManual... But is there a site that might have PDF's of User Manuals for the 991.2??

2. I typically like to find a PDF of the Sales brochure... I see 2017/2018 911 Carrera brochures... But no specific 911T brochure.

At the risk of being "flamed", my raw suggestion is to get a life. There is more to life than this car, brand or legacy.

Sit back and wait for the “it’s been delayed” notifications to start.

Then set up an internal contest with yourself to see which happens first: you break down and call your SA for an update and get the *next* “it’s been delayed” message OR he calls you with the news.

For bonus points, try to predict the new arbitrary delivery date each subsequent delay message will provide.

It’s great sport.

Just like I did with my previous ordered vehicles (BMW 535, Macan GTS and now Carrera T) I have been thinking on the upgrades/mods that I would like to do, and start researching and buying the parts that I will use for that.

I can tell you that I already have a big box of things waiting for the T to arrive.

Can you guess what this one is for???

Buy the cheapest Porsche you can find. Sell it when yours gets here.
