Heh it’s all good as long as you don’t leave the 360 out when you do the Rari version! Then we’ll have issues!

I’ve been trying to figure out how to get people to gift them to me me since my birthday isn’t coming up. Are Easter presents a thing?

I was also very skeptical. Thought the same as you. But I asked for a copy of Prototyp for Christmas to give it a shot.

Think of it this way. It’s not a magazine. It’s a book. A softcover Porsche book. So at $75 each for a book, it seems more reasonable. It’s certainly not cheap for a softcover book, but I think it’s well worth it. As was said, there are probably no more than 10 pages of ads, and even those are classy.

The issue I am currently reading is 004, and the lead article is about the 917/30. The article is, no joke, NINETY PAGES long. It includes text of course, and georgeous high resolution photos. Plus, historic photos and documents the likes of which you are hard pressed to find elsewhere. Not all the articles are this long, but all are as cool.

Its proper nerd stuff. You really need to be into it to see the value. But if you are on that level, it’s fantastic.

$75 for a book is a bit overpriced. But the content seems to be really worth it now that you tell me an article is 90 pages long. Not many magazines make this quality content anymore!

I'm thinking I better try 000 after these reviews. Would you guys recommend 000 or 001 for a newby to get the flavor?

Seriously though these were 2 extras I had. I plan to keep my other issues as I will not have duplicates.
No worries. I'll probably subscribe some point sooner or later.

I ordered the Prototyp thinking it might sell out faster than the others so if I like it and decide to go back and try to get people to give me back issues for birthday/christmas/labor day presents I might be more likely to be able to build up a full set vs missing one.

That was kind of my thinking. Its $25 bucks more but I figure Pete would have made that one really good to make a big splash!

Agree with everything said, here! 000 is so much more than just a magazine. I keep them with my books. The articles are well written. The photography is superb. If you try one of the earlier issues, you will be hooked. It is quite simply the BEST Porsche magazine you can buy.

Thanks again wareaglescott.... I received my issue 003 today. After a quick flip through the pages, I can see why folks describe it more like a book than a magazine. Looking forward to checking it out in depth.
