Same thing went to EuroTire and them mounted, while I was there had the alignment done as well.

Sweet. I had the local stealer match tire rack's pricing and let them bend me over with the flat installation fee of $340.
The balancing was great but the geniuses forgot to clean the glue residue from the old weights and of course used silver weights on the black wheels.
All was corrected but I expected more of them given the steep price.
Happy driving!!

Almost 4 months later I finally mounted these tires.

I'm surprised how well balanced they are...... they had to use very little weight to balance.

1st road trip Saturday.........

Do you tire shops for alignment, installation and balancing of the tires or take it to the dealer?

I use my local Discount Tire for all tire related purchases and road hazard stuff. They have been really good.

I rotate between 2 sets of wheels so when I go in they are off the car, clean, and weight free...... only a hand full of times did a vibration occur that I needed to take the whole car in to have them re-balanced.

On the alignment I've only had one alignment early on during my ownership when I chewed up the 1st set of tires that came with the car around 9K. Now at 83K and the tires have been wearing nice and even..... and for the most part quiet.

1st impressions of the new Michelin Sport 4S's are they are the worst tires ever.

I must have a square one.

Talk to us. We are here for you. What's happening? Front or back? Vibration? Can you use one of your other known "good wheels & tires" and isolate the bad one?

Car vibrations all over.

I'll take it back in to find the bad actor.

Just made it back home last night so I'll look into it before the weekend.

Update:

After having the front wheels "re-balanced" at 3 different places one with a new road force machine with no resolution to the shakey shakey I requested the front tires be replaced. Ordered today.

This will be my 2nd set of Michelin tires out of 3 sets where the 235's were unbalanceable.

I will probably go with another brand the next time around.

That sux. Hope new tires work out for you. Initially, my tires vibrated too at high speeds, but settled down after about 100 miles and are rock solid now.

I had thought the same but after 2000 miles they have to go.
