cant agree more with completing the look. Is your car lower? how's the ground clearance after adding the splitter?

This splitter leave me a bit concerned without a countering rear down force. The rear spoiler in the 991 was designed to provide a balanced downforce at speed. I can't wait to hear how the car brakes at 100+ with this mod installed. Will the rear get squirrelly? When I compare the OEM splitter on the GT3 to this splitter, it appears very aggressive in comparison.

I've had a good bit of seat time with it at over 140 mph. As I said, I feel it has too much understeer from the factory, and this balances it out for me. I've been instructing PCA events for quite some time, and I feel all the 991.1's are a little less neutral than they should be.

Also, this is MUCH less aggressive than the GT3 front lip in the position I have it set. However, I could extend it another 3" if I wanted to. I think the position I have it set at currently is correct for my driving style.

It is not lower. It has S-PASM. Ground clearance is fine, as it only adds 1/2".

by any chance you can measure the ground clearance between splitter to ground?

I'm worried that I can't go home after changing the bumper and adding the splitter as my car is lowered

Thanks!

I have 4.5" of ground clearance. The good news is that the splitter can be recessed if you want it to be, since its length adjustable.

OK I will measure the clearance when I get back home, you mean it can be recessed all the way in behind the bumper?

It can be recessed to extend just 1.5". This makes it pretty insignificant as far as ground clearance changes go.

Which wind tunnel was this tested in?

Completely pointless.

Installed mine a few weeks ago. Looks great, doesn't reduce ground clearance much at the most tucked-in setting (pictured) and fits great. Awesome kit.
