thanks. It was so easy to install. Now I just need to learn the clicks. Every Targa, Cabriolet should have this satandard. It looks like the European Targas have this as a standard feature.

this link will get you to the webpage. As you can see by the install instructions, very simple.

What are your experiences with the SmartTop Module? My understanding is that it unlocks the roof folding during the drive. I understand that this is locked on the Targa by Porsche due to good security reasons (weight, drag coefficient, back part hanging over the car, etc.). Does it feel safe during the drive? I would love to install it but not if it brings the car in misbalance or worse...
Cheers,
Adrian

My experiences thus far with the Smart top module have been minimal. I have opened and closed the top with the key, And have opened and closed the top using the button on the center console via the one touch method. I haven’t tried opening or closing the top while driving, and I don’t think I will. I installed this as a matter of convenience when approaching the car or while in the car.

You don't have a dedicated button on the key? My key has 4 buttons, open, close, frunk, and ultimately, roof opening.

The USA doesn't have that 4th button for opening and closing the roof via key remote. Smart Top is the only way to get the features that you all have in Europe, and ROW where it's available.

Uups! Don't understand why they would ommit it as some cars are even fitted with a remote motor start button in the USA which is a big NO NO in Germany.

Thank you. At the port in Emden now, hopefully on the Aegean Highway on the 16th and to me mid-late April.

Great news! My T is due to complete its build on 15th March and hopefully arrive at the Porsche Centre here in the U.K. around the end of this month.

Can't wait to see the pics of your 991.2 Targa 4S.
