I have mixed feelings. I love many things about it while I also don't like many others. I think that as is often the case, an all-in-one means it's good at a lot of things but not great at many of them. For my taste, it is very luxurious but not as good as the offerings from the other German brands. It's as if it's trying to be better than an M5 in 7-series attire and compromising in the process.
Every time we came to a state or country that didn't allow 15 year-olds to drive I was careful to turn back. You can all stop worrying. I was also extra cautious to make sure the Pirellis never saw anything below 40F, the rev-counter stayed well below 5000, the oil was changed every 3000 miles, and none of that soul-damning rock-and-roll ever profaned the speakers of that Cayman loaner.
Amazing what turns these threads can take. Are you tired yet from the inquisition? Did the kid have all required body parts, etc... sometimes this forum wears me out.
Best loaner ever. Pre 911 days, the Cayenne Diesel was in for some minor service on a Friday afternoon in late May. They needed some part and the Cayenne wouldn't be ready for about a week. I wasn't upset- Boxster S for the weekend and then some. So fun, and my wife was really annoyed at the service people who loaned me that car.

My dealership nowadays use base Cayennes for loaners. But over time, it was all over the map. Searching my computer, I found a couple of pictures. You guys be the judge. Note: One of the loaners was during a period when the dealership used Enterprise
Ended up with this same car yesterday Panamera 4, here in PA, after dropping my wife’s Macan S for service. I have to say I really liked it. AWD drove really well both on the highway and backroads. Nice change from the usual Cayenne I get.
