Should I cancel my 4S order and get a T?
2018 911 4S (140k)
http://www.porsche-code.com/PJXS8689
vs
2018 911 T (134k)
http://www.porsche-code.com/PJRSBSH7
Should I cancel my 4S order and get a T?
- Looks almost the same
- Save 6k
- Cool bucket seats
- Ceramic brakes on the T!
thoughts?

Your builds are totally different, one is AWD and back seats the other is with LWBs (eliminates the rear seat) and the standard RWD with 8k brake upgrade... What is your main use for the car? That would help others chime in.
The main draw to the T is the "rawness", simplicity and lightweight aspect. Some people would argue that the pdk and sunroof are a no-no with a spec such as yours which includes the buckets and carbon brakes.
btw your links are flip flopped.

Is a 134k 911 T optioned too expensive?

I think as a weekend fun car you could go with the T and have blast and possibly save even more than 6k. Take out the sunroof and maybe some of the other creature comforts. Does a 7 speed manual appeal to you? Have you driven a PDK of the 7MT? You may find the 7MT more engaging and therefore "fun". BTW the other thing is that a build-able T allocation may be hard to find, some larger dealers on the country have only 3-4 allocations.

For some reason I can't compute your comparison.
A better comparison would be T vs the Base Carrera.
The T is just not that special to me.
But I would be all over the 4/4S.

You are over thinking it. Keep the 4S.

l agree with this. I’m sorry but I don’t see the specialness if the T. Not much lighter, not any faster, and I don’t get the appeal of cloth door pulls.
