Guys I'm waiting to take delivery of my 991.2 Targa 4S.
I'm assuming and average size golf bag(s) will fit across the back.

If it's not to much trouble can someone verify it will fit. Is it easier with back seats folded down?
Do you use anything to protect the rear leather?

Any pictures would be much appreciated and cool to compare how others transport their clubs.

Previous owner of my car didn't protect the leather. . So I would advise to cover both ends with a towel.

My bag fits without taking out my big driver. I have a smallish stand bag and I use the rain cover to keep everything tight. I fold down the rear seats to protect the seat bottoms, but this does not help fit. I would be careful with the golf bag bottom scraping the sides of the rear (plastic).

I have taken numerous trips with my 911 cab and have put 2 sets of clubs in the back without any trouble. Yes, you should be careful but it isn't the clubs that will do the damage rather it is any sharp edges on the bag.

I put a yoga mat on the seat up the sides on both ends so the clubs do not touch the sides.

my move:

small towel for the base of your clubs, tilt both seats forward, approach from driver's side, club heads in first, secure by reclining and locking passenger side seat, drape towel over base of clubs, slide clubs back so the towel/base is making contact with the side. voila.

I put mine on my passenger seat when I need to transport my clubs.

I wish you the best on this and it can be done. Unfortunately for me I also take an electric golf cart with my clubs (I like to walk and can't carry the bag) so I had no other choice and had to buy a Cayenne S. And, as you might imagine, it works great

Thanks I've seen this. My son (12 yo) is the golfer not sure how he will feel in the back seat with the clubs in the front especially how entitled kids have become these days LOL.

Good thing I treated the leather w/ Gyeon Leather. I worried a touch less about putting my clubs in front seat.
