My '18 991.2 resides in the attached garage and the car isn't locked. Battery tender is plugged into the passenger side 12v port and works fine for extended periods of time.

How bad is the passive draw on the 991.2 with various PCM services (if that has any bearing)? Do most of you leave the CTEK plugged in when the car is not in use? Winter months notwithstanding, my 911 is not a daily driver and due to the nature of my work/travel will frequently go a week without being driven. After picking the car up last week from the dealer and several hundred miles, it has taken 3 plus overnights on the maintainer until I got a green light.

In the winter, where my unheated garage goes down to ~40 degrees, I will plug it in when not using for a day or two. In warmer weather, I'll plug it in if im not using for ~a week or so.

Yeah I use the plug in the passenger side. I read somewhere locking the car draws less current, therefore good to lock it.
I always lock my car even when in the garage.

You didn't ask, but, this is completely normal, on a newly delivered car. I can take my fully charged car on a 320 mile Saturday drive, come home and park in the garage, plug in, and the battery will still take a charge for about an hour.
