In addition to the above:

1. PDLS doesn't come with washers anymore for the Base/S/4/4S. It's still there for the GTS.
2. Black PSE exhaust tips available on the 2018, not on the 2017s
3. Tinted tail lights available on the 2018, not on the 2017s

I think the 2018 has park assist standard, not positive.

I missed the 2017 cutoff by a day... for 2018, the changes in Canada were the following: Basically a new and better fitting PCM and heated multifunction steering wheel...Now included as standard equipment:• Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel • Connect Plus to be equipped with the following new features:− Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI)− Online Destination Search using Google®− Nav and Info Services (News, Weather, Flight Info, Portal POIs, etc.)• PCM with optimized screen design and functional improvements• Instrument cluster with new air circulation display• Optimized active carbon fine dust filter: reduces particles, pollen and odours. Filters outfine dust from outdoor air.

Thanks. If that’s the same in the USA it’s pretty significant.

US: 2018 - rear view camera standard - from what I understand.

'17 does too. Also the connect plus, car connect whatever you call-it, real-time traffic, etc - a whole bunch of stuff that is a PITA to use! Car play and the new pcm are great but all the connect things - lot easier to use your phone imo - with CarPlay it's like using your phone on the pcm screen

Got an "early" 2018 Carrera in late 2017. I noticed:

-No headlight washers with PLDS
-Park-distance and backup camera were standard
-Free first-year service, but with a price increase over 2017
-Black exhaust tips were available as option
-Tinted tail lights were available as option
-Voice Control was a "hidden" $0 option (not on configurator)

I notice Voice Control is now listed as an option on the configurator, at $0.

Mine is a 2017 and had rear camera and parking sensors standard. It also has tinted taillights.

As for the black exhaust tips, I have sport exhaust (as part of the sport package) and I don't think I could have gotten the black tips, although I don't recall checking on that last year. But what's odd on the 2018 is that while black tips are an option for both standard and sport exhaust, it will not let you configure the black tips on the sport exhaust when you have selected the sport package. That could just be an error on the configurator but if not, you'd have to configure the sport package components individually if you wanted sport exhaust with the black tips. Odd.

Black tips ordered on my '17, took delivery in Jan '17 (so it wasn't just a late model year option). Didn't order tinted taillights, wished I would have. I know others that did get them on their '17's.
