Cool factor weighs heavily in favor of a 991.2.
Well then the 5 series should be out. While car enthusiasts would appreciate the m550i and even 540i to some degree, vast majority of the populous just see another BMW sedan.

This thread cracks me up! You never said “why” you sold your 991.1 and then I can kind of see the Panamera (it's a P-car and almost a 4 door 911), but the BMW sedan, and then a RR? Really? You need help but not from any of us unless someone has a psychiatry degree. Nogobiker said it best: delete for no kindness! Good luck, truly!

I have a 991 and a RR sport. I use them for 2 totally different things.

If I only could have one car to use and it needed it to do everything I would probably consider the new Panamera or the Audi RS7. is that the dilemma? the RR sport is cool but its no sports car.
This would be my daily driver. My wife is suggesting the 5 Series or the RR because I also have a Cayman (987.2) that I’ve passed down to my son but he’s getting ready to start college and won’t need it there.

///M5? A relative "bargain" compared to 911s.
Sadly a tad farty for a V8 but I suppose you can tinker with different exhaust setups...

Feedback requested:

Is the Panamera cool?
When you see it, do you think 'cool?'
If you were to pick one word to describe one, what would it be?
Panamera Sport Turismo is über cool.

It does everything so well, it's remarkable. Aggressive sports car for spirited driving, comfortable with all the amenities for daily driving (vent/heated seats, parking sensors, backup camera, Bose, 14 way seats, good visibility, great compliant suspension).

It is the best sports car in the world. Plenty comfortable for highway driving, daily driving, track duty, all weather duty. There is no substitute (for the 911)!!!!!!

Perfectly said.

Classic cars are way cooler than new cars, but the Mercedes-AMG E63S 4MATIC+ Estate, and Porsche Panamera 4 Sport Turismo are pretty cool.

991.1 GTS (this time, not in black, with its better wheels, you'll be surprised how much visual representation and options will improve your ownership experience). GT3. Macan GTS.

Update:

Adding 718 Cayman S to my list, deleting 2018 Range Rover Sport.
Anyone know if 718 is any quieter on the highway than the 991?

who cares what others see. Others see the 991 as the same as every other 911.
